Context ThumbView gives you a solution. It is a small picture viewer that displays thumbnail (reduced picture), of selected image file directly in the right-click menu. It supports most of popular image file formats, including BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, EMF, WMF, and more.
As Context ThumbView is a Windows shell extension, it is always ready and available to use. Moreover, it is available in any Explorer window, including Search Results, Open and Save As.. dialog boxes.
To bring it up, just right-click an image file in Windows Explorer, and then point to View Thumbnail in the pop-up menu. Also you can configure it to display thumbnails directly in the context menu. Additional options allow you to save image preview to a file, send it by email or copy to the Clipboard.
Configuration Manager provides a very convenient and friendly interface to configure basic and additional options. To launch it, just click Set Options on the menu.
